We understand that few things can be more difficult than hiring a criminal defense lawyer. In troubled times it is difficult to avoid making a “quick decision.” The client is, and should be, concerned about the cost of the defense.
We work with clients of all different means to develop a strategy that is not only effective, but sensible. We pride ourselves on making exceptional representation as affordable as possible. Our philosophy is simple: We provide excellent representation, and we expect to be fairly compensated for our efforts. We believe it is not fair to charge a minimum non-refundable fee that we keep if the case is resolved quickly.
We also do not believe it is fair take a considerable retainer, and then withdraw when the money is completely expended. Although we expect to be fairly compensated, we plan and work with clients to make sure that the representation continues through conclusion.
We are in the business of helping people, not adding to their problems.
